MASTER
The Master of Arts in Music enables students to improve on the expertise they developed during their Bachelor. It trains them to work as musicians or music teachers. The Master’s studies aim for them to acquire scientific knowledge in preparation for professional activity. The HEMU’s Masters further the students’ proficiency profiles by closely combining research and teaching, and by putting the emphasis on creativity and artistic performances.
The Master’s counts for 120 ECTS credits, usually lasts for two years and grants the title of Master of Arts in Music. It is possible to claim a second Master, of maximum 90 credits, but only if the student’s aptitude is at the required standard.

Because of the numerous registration queries the HEMU receives annually, candidates applying for a Master’s degree will be subjected to a competitive entrance examination in order to evaluate their skills.
