• What username should I use to log in once my account has been created?

Enter the username you have created and your personal password.

• How do I request a letter of invitation for a visa?

Requests for certificates should be sent by e-mail to : admissions.classique(at)hemu-cl.ch
Please specify the exact address of the embassy, as well as its e-mail address.

• Language of instruction

The courses are given in French and a minimum level is required.
The recommended level is B2 of the "European Language Portfolio" : portfoliolangues.ch
Fluency in French is a prerequisite for passing certain exams.

For German-speaking candidates admitted to the HEMU Fribourg-Freiburg in the Master's programme in Music Pedagogy, with a major in instrumental or vocal performance, the pedagogical module can be acquired on receipt of a reasoned application to Haute Ecole des Arts à Berne.

Kandidaten deutscher Sprache, welche in den Studiengang Pädagogikmaster, Orientierung Instrumental oder vokal, HEMU Standort Freiburg aufgenommen wurden, haben die Möglichkeit eine begründete Anfrage zu stellen, das Modul der Pädagogik an der Hochschule der Künste Bern zu absolvieren.

• Transcripts and transcripts of marks

Transcripts in French, English, German, Italian and Spanish are accepted.
Translations into French or English are required for other languages.

• How do I pay the registration fee?

• What is the annual school fee ?

The fee is linked to the admission tests before the jury. If you wish to sit the entrance exam in two different streams/orientations, please refer to the information below to find out whether you have to pay the fee once or twice.

• Are theory courses compulsory ?

Only the courses in the general music education module are compulsory in the Bachelor's programme. The Bachelor study plans can be consulted at :

> Bachelor creative performer - Musiques Actuelles
> Bachelor musique à l'école

This module is not included in the Master's programme curricula.

• Is financial aid available ?

From the 3^rd semester of studies at the HEMU, financial aid may be granted. Exceptional assistance may be considered during the 1^st year of studies.
